What is GTCollections?

GTCollections is a product designed for organisations that collect funds from multiple people, such as institutions of higher learning and churches

It is a robust solution that amalgamates all channels through which funds are deposited into the organization’s account to form an e-Collection platform. The e-Collection platform helps to render customized collections service on the organization’s behalf to its valued customer.

EASY STEPS

STEP 1

1) Go to M-PESA menu on your phone and select Lipa na M-PESA, Pay Bill option.

2) Enter Paybill 270988.

3) Enter the account code (your admission number).

4) Enter the amount to pay, then M-PESA PIN and press Send.

5) You will receive a confirmation SMS with a unique code

 

STEP 2

1) Go to GTBank (K) Ltd website https://www.GTBank.co.ke) select GT collections

2) Enter student admission Number and then click Validate. (The system will auto populate student details as maintained by the University.)

3) Enter the unique Mpesa reference number from the Mpesa confirmation message received in step 1 ( PJE1043…) and click validate.

4) The system will auto-populate Mpesa transaction details linked to the unique reference number entered.

5) Select the reason for which the payment is being done from the drop down e.g. Admission, Tuition etc.

6) Enter phone number of student/parent/Guardian to receive payment confirmation via text.

7) Enter email address of student/parent/Guardian to receive copy of payment receipt.

8) Click submit to approve the payment.

9) Download or print a copy of the payment confirmation receipt.
