Bishop Opera Luigi Locati Children's Home is located off Kamiti Road, next to Madre Teresa Catholic Church in Zimmerman. The home has approximately 35 children ranging between the ages 3 to 18. The home designed to promote education and support the rehabilitation and reintegration of orphans and vulnerable children to the society. The Bank renovated the boys dormitory, forming part of the 2019 Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. The project involved repairing the damaged dormitory floors and the washrooms, sealing off a wall that exposed the children to harm, fixing the lighting system and installing windows for better ventilation and lighting, all in order to give these less fortunate children a habitable place to call home. The official handover ceremony took place on 21st September 2019. 20 members of staff visited the home on this day for the ceremony, and engaged in several activities including prayer, song & dance and a feast with the children and their careres.
