Nairobi Hospice is a registered charitable organization that was established in 1988. With the mission to provide quality palliative care services, caregiver support and education, the organization provides care for patients facing life limiting illness and provide care giver support and education. For several years, we have supported different initiatives at the Hospice, as our mandate of giving back to the communities in which we operate. In 2018, we sponsored the Patients and Staff Christmas Party held at their premises in Nairobi, off Elgeyo Marakwet Road. To the Tune of Kes 148,000 we provided food and drinks for the party. GTBank Staff filled with the spirit of giving and adorned with Christmas cheer started the day early at the Hospice, cooking and preparing for the party on the D-day 8Th December 2018. Thereafter, was feasting, dancing and celebration. It was a joyful day, where we also donated Christmas packages to the patients and their families, containing food stuff and toiletries. Indeed in line with the Hospice motto, we did contribute to putting life into their days, and not just days into their Lives.
